Liao Fan Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle

Renowned as the world's first hawker stall to earn a Michelin star. Chef and owner Chan Hong Meng makes incredible tender chicken rice. But there is some confusion here. The hawker stall that won the Michelin star is located in the Chinatown hawker center. You'll have to walk around to find the stall, look for the queues. They will close once they run out of food, so if you go in the evening, you may be out of luck. However, after the owner won the Michelin star he opened a couple other restaurant-style locations in the city, including one right across the street from the hawker stall location. These stay open. So, if you find the hawker stall closed, you can go across the street and eat there – just remember, you're not eating at the Michelin star hawker stall in that case. However, the stall lost its Michelin star in 2021 so who cares.
