Serbia: cosa sapere prima di partire
L’essenziale
- Serbia is outside Schengen. A valid Schengen, UK, EU-state or US visa, or a qualifying residence permit, can exempt its holder from a Serbian short-stay visa under the official conditions.
- Russian, Belarusian, Kazakh and Chinese citizens can stay 30 days visa-free (EU alignment is debated; check before travel).
- Currency is the dinar (RSD); licensed exchange offices (menjačnica) give good rates.
- You must be registered with the police within 24 hours; hotels do this, private hosts must too.
- Do not enter Serbia from Kosovo if you entered Kosovo from another country: you may be refused.
