Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park
A vast limestone cultural park dominated by the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue, depicting the Hindu god Vishnu riding the mythical bird Garuda. The 121-m monument is among the world’s tallest statues and is visible from much of southern Bali. Visit for the monumental sculpture, broad peninsula views and scheduled Balinese dance performances; the large site is best explored in the cooler late afternoon.
