Taipei 101

The building is divided into eight distinct sections, with eight being a number associated with prosperity in Chinese culture. The internal architecture of Taipei 101 is similarly awe-inspiring. It was the world's tallest building from 2004 to 2010, but was soon overtaken by others willing to splurge for bragging rights.
