Cambodge : à savoir avant de partir
L’essentiel
- Most visitors need a visa: get an e-Visa (evisa.gov.kh) before flying or buy a visa on arrival (USD 30) with cash.
- Complete the free Cambodia e-Arrival card (arrival.gov.kh) within 7 days before arrival; it replaces paper arrival and customs forms.
- Vapes and e-cigarettes are banned, including possession and use (government order of Oct 2025).
- US dollars are used everywhere alongside the riel; bring clean, untorn USD notes—damaged ones are refused.
- Thai–Cambodian land crossings have been closed or restricted at times since the 2025 border conflict; check status before travelling overland.
Entrée et visas
ASEAN citizens are visa-exempt. Most other tourists need a 30-day tourist visa: e-Visa online (single entry, used at international airports and main land borders) or visa on arrival at airports and major land crossings (USD 30). Extensions are possible via agents/immigration. All arrivals must complete the e-Arrival card.
