Îles Féroé : à savoir avant de partir

L’essentiel

  • The Faroes are outside Schengen; a Danish/Schengen visa alone does not cover them.
  • Weather can change suddenly; use marked paths and check conditions before hiking.

Entrée et visas

The Faroe Islands are outside the EU and Schengen. British and EU/EEA visitors can enter visa-free for up to 3 months. If your nationality requires a visa, it must specifically cover the Faroe Islands; check transit visa requirements separately.

Validité du passeport: Carry a valid passport; non-EU/Schengen visitors should check the 3-month post-stay validity condition with the issuing Danish mission.
