Before you go to Guam: what to know
Must know
- Guam EDF is mandatory and separate from immigration permission. Complete one per family from 72 hours before arrival; airport kiosks are available.
- G-CNMI ETA is a separate 45-day regional visa-waiver route for eligible nationalities; do not confuse it with US ESTA or the CNMI-only China programme.
- Check typhoon and storm disruption before travel.
Entry and visas
Guam uses US immigration rules plus the limited Guam-CNMI visa-waiver programme. Eligible travellers, including qualifying UK nationals, need regional ETA approval for visits up to 45 days under that route. Other visitors need an appropriate US visa or another valid admission route. China’s CNMI-only EVS-TAP never covered Guam; its suspension is effective 30 October 2026 at 14:00 EDT.
